THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF THE CONVERSION OF A FORMER 12 STOREY OFFICE BUILDING INTO A 249 BEDROOM TRAVELODGE HOTEL INCLUDING A BAR CAFE'. THE PROJECT INCORPORATED MODERN METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION AND WAS PROCURED VIA A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT ARRANGEMENT
The existing building was fully converted into a new hotel comprising of 249 ensuite bedrooms, Bar Cafe', lift and stairwell cores, corridors, laundry rooms and staff areas
The works included the full strip out off the existing building, formation of the new bedrooms with metal stud partitions and the installation of prefabricated bathroom and shower pods. The internal finishings, fixtures and fittings to all areas were installed in accordance with the Travelodge standard image details
